Collection of Records

Cassidy Cataloguing Services, Inc. has been creating original MARC21 catalog records for HeinOnline's World Trials Library since late 2007.

The quality of work provided by Cassidy Cataloging and the time you will save in creating these monthly records equal real value for your library! Each month, approximately 100 records are distributed to subscribing libraries to coincide with the release of new content by Hein.

The portion of the World Trials Library that is being digitized and cataloged has been designated "Phase I" and will total roughly 1,900 titles. Phase I is expected to be completed at the end of 2008. At that time, Cassidy Cataloguing will be uploading the catalog records into OCLC. Subscribing libraries have been given the option to have Cassidy add their 4-letter holding code to the records at the time of upload for a very small fee.

OCLC will not be selling the World Trials Library records as a "record set" as Cassidy Cataloguing Services, Inc. will retain exclusive rights to do so. This will be the arangement for future OCLC uploads as well.

This library collection is a one-time investment of only $3,800. Through Cassidy Cataloguing, you will have the option of being invoiced once, or over three installments.These records will be emailed as an .mrc file for easy loading into your OPAC or ILS.

HeinOnline Session Laws Records

MARC21 catalog records for your subscription to HeinOnline's digital Session Laws and/or microfiche Session Laws. Our Update Service provides added records, delete notices and any necessary changes from the publisher. Initial load of 55+/59+ records are sent to your email in MARC format for easy loading into your OPAC.

We're pleased to offer MARC21 catalog records for the new HeinOnline's KLUWER LAW JOURNAL LIBRARY of 12 international publications. These records include the complete title history within one record, rather than through successive records.
