HeinOnline has recently released its Environmental Law and Policy database, and MARC records are now available through Cassidy Cataloguing Servicess - currently offered with a 25% introductory discount!

This new database brings together a wide range of environmental law materials, and our MARC records are designed to help libraries make these resources discoverable and easy to manage from day one. For libraries adding this collection, ready-to-load records can simplify implementation and reduce the need for local cataloging work.

About the MARC Records

The HeinOnline Environmental Law and Policy MARC records include detailed metadata for content covering statutes, regulations, treaties, and scholarly commentary related to environmental law. Records are structured to integrate smoothly into library catalogs, allowing materials to become searchable and accessible to users without extensive manual processing.

How These Records Support Your Work

Libraries using these records benefit from:

  • Less staff time spent cataloging - records are fully customizable and ready to load and use

  • Accurate legal metadata - created by catalogers experienced with legal materials

  • Improved discoverability - rich metadata and multiple access points make resources easier for patrons to find

  • Smooth system integration - compatible with standard ILS workflows

The goal is simple: helping libraries provide access quickly while keeping technical services workflows manageable.
